GoGetFunding is a website functioning on the premise of crowdfunding, through which clients can raise funds for various needs. The company does not look into what you need the money for. GoGetFunding has been featured on Forbes, NBC, Lifehacker, CNN Money, Fox News, and Entrepreneur. Funding can be used for personal purposes, volunteer &service, business, medical, startups, and healing. The second version of the website was launched in 2012.
Fundraising is done mainly in 3 steps: creating a webpage, sharing funding requests as much as possible, and accepting donations accordingly. Funds can be accepted via PayPal, or debit or credit card. You are not required to pay any charges in the initial stages of your campaign, but once any amount is raised, around 4% of that will need to be paid to the company. You also end up paying 2.9% of the collected amount on average as processing fees. Social networking website Facebook is used as one of the platforms for fundraising.
Trustpilot’s latest assessment of GoGetFunding as of April 2019 ranks it 167 out of 348 non-bank finance companies. Meanwhile, among online marketplaces, it rates 16th out of 74 such establishments. The TrustScore of the GoGetFunding is 8.8 out of 10.
