Credit Sesame, Inc. was founded in 2010 by Adrian Nazari. It is a consumer credit monitoring service, with a primary focus on helping people manage their credit as well as loans. Specifically, credit Sesame makes the processes of loan and credit management automated. It offers a credit score check for free, and availing customers do not have to give their credit card information for this.
Most services would offer free trials, but they would charge customers as soon as that expired even if all the latter did wrong was forgetting to cancel. Credit Sesame claims to be the needed solution in this space. Opening an account with the company gives a customer access to different areas on the website, each asking for some information on their financial status. On entering that, customers are led to a set of recommendations or goals which Credit Sesame deems suited to their situation.
It provides customers with access to their credit score based on their TransUnion report. TransUnion is a credit bureau. Credit Sesame calculates customers’ credit score with TransUnion’s credit scoring model. A credit profile is included in a customer’s free credit score and it breaks down as to why they have the score they do.
